Supporting Growth for Rockhampton Small Business
If my Father was still with us, I am sure he would be as proud and humbled as I am by the results of the election of Office Bearers at the recent Annual General Meeting of the Rockhampton Chamber of Commerce.
At the AGM held in February, I was elected to the position of President of the Rockhampton Chamber of Commerce. It is a position that I have accepted with much pride and I humbly look forward to embracing the many new responsibilities and challenges that will come.

As a general footnote to this post: Many of my treasured memories of my father, while I was a child, stem from his willing involvement in the community in which we lived. My parents operated a general convenience and grocery store at Elliott Heads (near Bundaberg) for over 10 years in the 1980′s and early 1990′s (7-7, 364 days a year, day off for Christmas). I would like to believe it is from my parents that I gained many of the values and character traits which make me who I am today.
